Bank robberies have always grasped at the imagination of the public and the same is true of a case that’s currently making it’s rounds throughout Houston’s media sources.
According to Click2Houston’s website the man entered the First Convenience Bank inside of a Joe V’s grocery store on the 600 block of north Victory Street before noon on Thursday.
The Houston division of the FBI has yet to identify the gentleman that was alleged to have robbed the bank in the Acres Homes community.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation now have in their possession multiple images of the suspect as a result of the previous security media obtained from the past 2 robberies the suspect is “alleged” to have robbed which they hope will aid in identifying the suspect.
The FBI’s violent crimes task force is continuing its investigation.
Bank Robbery: A Serious Federal Crime
Bank Robbery is a crime that’s prosecuted by the United States Attorney’s Office; meaning that persons charged with such offenses can expect effective prosecution and extreme sentencing if convicted in court.
If you’re convicted of bank robbery, or even accepting monies gained from a bank robbery, you could be facing minimum sentencing (depending on the case’s circumstances) that can range from 10-25 years (starting from 10 years in most cases) and starting at 5 years for persons who have accepted the stolen money.
Kidnapping or killing someone during the course of a bank robbery can bring life sentencing, and even the death penalty.
We Fight “Accusations” of Federal Crimes
If a person is arrested and/or charged with bank robbery The Law Offices of Tad Nelson & Associates will consider taking the case if we believe we can win.
The resources of the United States Attorney’s Office are unlimited, and the deck is massively stacked against you if facing federal prosecution, but we can win.
Even if the case “appears” to be unwinnable at first glance, legal representation by our firm can prove vital in limiting the decades you’ll be incarcerated if convicted. People make mistakes, but it doesn’t mean they should be separated from their family for inhumane amounts of time, after they’ve learned their lesson.
